After almost a decade in the television and film industry, Jim hung up his producer hat and embarked on a career in the classroom. Using his industry experience, he has created an award winning video production program at El Diamante High School in Visalia, CA. As a Google Certified Teacher and Apple Certified Trainer, Jim leads professional development workshops on topics which include Using Video for Social Change, Digital Storytelling Techniques, and Using Google in the Classroom. In 2009, Jim was awarded The Computer Using Educator (CUE) Outstanding Teacher award and nominated for the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Outstanding Teacher Award.
